Grand Blanc “Future Bobcats/Bobkitten” Tennis Clinic 2015
Please join the Grand Blanc Girls /Boys Varsity and JV Tennis Players and Coaches for an afternoon of tennis instruction, games, drills and pizza!  The fun starts on Saturday March 7th at the Genesys Athletic Club.  We will start at 6:00 p.m. and finish by 8:00 p.m.  All participants will receive a T-shirt.  Please return your application form by February 27th.

Literacy Night Date Change

 Literacy Night has be rescheduled and will be held on
March 31. Additional information regarding Literacy Night will be coming home in the weeks to come.  
Special Person's Day 
The date for Special Person's Day has been changed to Thursday, April 2. On this day, students can each invite one adult family member or adult friend to join them for a classroom activity during the scheduled time.

The schedule is as follows:
                        KDG... 9:15 - 10:00
                        1st Grade and Multiage...10:00 - 10:30
                        2nd Grade... 10:30 - 11:00

Movember Mustache Day!  (Did you know "Movember" is Men's Health Month?)  All students and staff spent the day wearing mustaches!  They may have felt a little scratchy and awkward,
but WE LOOKED GREAT!!!

Homecoming
Thank you to all the students, parents, and staff who came out to represent Anderson in this year's homecoming parade. It was great to see all our dolphins!

 















 
GO BOBCATS!!!

GB Varsity football players and cheerleaders made their annual visit to Anderson during Homecoming week. They each visited a classroom and read books to the students. Afterward, we headed out to our soccer field for a building-wide pep assembly with our guests. A great time was had by all!  We got spirit!  Yes we do!!!







Visit from Governor Snyder

Governor Snyder visited Anderson on Friday, September 12. He shared the book The Acoustic Rooster and His Barnyard Band with kindergarten students, and then came and talked to each first and second grade class for a few moments. 

ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Our very own principal, Mrs. Watkins took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge at a school-wide meeting!  She was challenged by our Superintendent, Dr. Norm Abdella.
